Replica of a Belgian fire striker; dimensions of the original: 6 x 2.5 cm.
Given the shape of the fire striker and its small size, I hypothesised that the two rings might have been used to attach a handle made of perishable material, which would greatly improve the grip and therefore its functionality.
In this way the fire striker is extremely functional and has nothing to envy the more modern shapes.
