Large knives are one of the characteristic features of the weaponry of warriors in the Po Valley region of Italy.
The replicas were made by forging C70 steel, with a brushed finish on the blade and a brut-de-forge finish on the back. The grips were made following the measurements of the tangs, studying different shapes and using various types of wood.
The replicas come with leather sheaths with a pair of symmetrical loops on the sides, so that they can be hung from a belt either way round and on either hip.
