A hearth set-up powered by bag bellows, with working tools based on evidence ranging from the 4th century BC to the 2nd century AD.
Forging in the Middle Ages
A workstation set-up with a forge powered by concertina bellows, anvils and working tools based on miniatures and evidence from the 13th/14th century AD.
Learn to forge
A forging workshop open to everyone, where each participant can make an object of their own, chosen from a catalogue of pieces specially designed to be easy to make (cloak pins, bracelets, small knives, etc.). Under our supervision, everyone will have the chance to forge their own object and take it home as a souvenir of the experience
