What the © Premio Italia Medievale is
True to the reasons for which it was founded, in 2004 the Associazione Culturale Italia Medievale established the © Premio Italia Medievale, an annual award for figures, institutions and private individuals who have particularly distinguished themselves in promoting and enhancing the medieval heritage of our country. With this initiative we intend to give concrete support to the commitment of all those who, like us, work for the re-discovery and re-birth of an age that was anything but dark and barbaric, as people still all too often would have us believe.
How to vote
From 1 December to 31 January each year you can put forward as many of your favourite candidates as you like by sending an email to: info@italiamedievale.org stating the category in which you wish to nominate them. Those with the most nominations go straight through to the voting stage.
From 1 February, vote for your favourite candidates using the form you will find below, no more than one per category. Each vote must include the voter’s first name, surname and place of residence, otherwise it will not be validated (personal data processed in accordance with current privacy law). Voting closes on 31 August.
