The exhibition Roma e le genti del Po. Un incontro di culture III-I sec. a.C. is an important opportunity to reflect on the cultural climate of a special historical moment, from the 3rd to the 1st century BC, during which Cisalpine Gaul underwent a profound change through encounters, clashes and integration between peoples of different origins and cultures. The Brescia exhibition sets out to tell the story of the encounter between Rome and the local populations, with the aim of describing a reality that was not just a clash, but had many facets.
